Dean Brockman has been told his services are no longer needed by the Saskatoon Blades.
Despite the fact that the Blades improved by seven wins, and nine points this season, they were unable to hold on to the second wild-card team in the East as they were overtaken by Prince Albert to miss the playoffs.
Brockman, who had been the assistant coach for two years before being promoted, had a career record in Saskatoon of 63-68-10-3.
The future of the team’s assistant coaches was not brought up.
