I can’t remember the last time I used the old gal, which is odd because we barbeque year round at the Lewis household. I did remember that I hadn’t used it since buying a brand new tank of propane, which was good because baked potatoes were on the menu and I knew I had more than an hour of propane in the tank.
There is nothing worse than not being sure how much propane you have only to find out half way through barbequing that you didn’t have enough. That’s happened to me on a couple of occasions. The nice thing about that is the place I get my propane from is only two blocks away. It’s not like I have to drive across the city to rectify the problem.
Steak, baked potatoes, salad, and garlic bread. A perfect Saturday night meal, topped off nicely with a big Leafs win over the Canadiens!
