A popular restaurant in Regina is no more.
Langs Cafe on Broad Street, just south of Saskatchewan Drive, has been destroyed after an early morning fire on Wednesday
Deputy fire chief Dave Kinvig says the fire is under control, but crews remain on scene dousing hotspots and making sure there are no flare-ups.
When asked what may have started the fire, Kinvig says he does not know and may never know.
“We have no idea right now, but we don’t know if we will ever be able to get inside.” Kinvig said. “The structure may not be safe enough for us to enter.

Flames could be seen shooting out of the building when firefighters arrived around 6 AM.
Kinvig says it is far too early to determine what may have caused the fire and it may remain a mystery as getting inside may be too much of a challenge because of the debris.
Businesses on each side of the restaurant are also closed and will be for the immediate future.
One of those buildings is the Wonderland Entertainment Centre. They have put out a Facebook post saying they will be closed for the immediate future.
