Steve Laycock has been the skip four of the last five years for Saskatchewan at the Tim Hortons Brier.
With his rink breaking up, the Saskatoon curler will head west and curl out of British Columbia next year.
On Wednesday, it was announced Laycock was going to take the spot of John Morris and serve as the third for the Jim Cotter rink.
The Laycock rink that represented Saskatchewan at the Brier consisted of Kirk Muyres, his brother Dallan and Matt Dunstone.
The Muyres have joined up with Dan and Kevin Marsh to form a new team while Dunstone is joining a new team put together by Regina’s Braeden Moskowy.
