Tickets for April 27th’s Humboldt Broncos Tribute Concert presented by Country Thunder will be going on sale to the general public at noon Wednesday.
The show will take place at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, will all proceeds raised going to the 29 families involved in April 6th’s accident involving the Broncos team.
Meanwhile, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League says they are currently in the process of finding trusted organizations to assist in setting up the overall structure for the league’s new trauma assistance program announced last week.
In a news release League President Bill Chow said “In honour of those lost, and their families, we want to ensure that this program is created and structured so that players and their families get access to the support they need in a timely and responsible way.”
The SJHL is focusing the program so that support can reach any player n the league, as well as family and billets who are grieving from the traumatic events of the April 6th tragedy involving the Humboldt Broncos.
Well over a million dollars has already been invested into the program.
