Brilliant weather, don’t you think. A weekend where the temperatures soared and there was very little wind. Morning skies were clear and the afternoons became cloudy. You could almost smell the rain. But alas it didn’t show.
Today, we suspect about 28 degrees. I found myself looking at sweaters (discounted!) and freezing in air-conditioned comfort. Yes, the buildings we reside in from 8am til 5pm have air conditioners going at full tilt. Great if you have sweaty co-workers and sweater/jacket weather if you are prone to feeling a chill.
We are never happy with indoor nor outdoor temperatures.
Heading to work early in the day, one does tend to dress on the warm side. You can always toss a light sweater on, I like to keep a complete change of clothes at the office. One never knows what kind of freaky weather front is going to roll through the building.
The 7th of May and a high of 28! By the end of the week it will be on the cool side. Yes, it looks as though 2018 will be another wild ride when it comes to fronts and jet streams waltzing through the prairies.
Our farm friends are busy in the field and right now I’m sure they would be more than okay with a few days of solid, gentle rain. As the “old tymers” say – a good soakin’!
We can smell that rain, the clouds are hovering and it just feels like it. But with only 30 per cent chance of precipitation it hardly gives us what we need for leaves to pop forth, grass to sprout, the birds to continuously sing their joyous song.
Come on girl, let’s have some rain! What do say!!
GUESS WHAT .. I am hung up on this rain thing…
