Adventurers and campers will soon have the chance to get out and explore the wild starting this week.
The government of Saskatchewan is opening it’s provincial parks on Thursday.
“This weekend marks the start of a new and exciting season for our park guests, with a variety of programs and events taking place this year,” said Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport Gene Makowsky. “There will be lots of fun activities to keep our visitors busy. ”
“Whether you’re a family heading back to your favourite park, or an adventure-seeker looking to explore a new place, each park has a unique experience to offer.”
Alcohol bans will be in place through the Long Weekend, ending on the Monday, May 21st and visitors are asked to keep fires small and attended to at all times due to the dry conditions.
