Regina Police have charged two 22-year-old’s with drug trafficking offenses after making a discovery during a traffic stop over the long-weekend.
Shortly after midnight Saturday morning officers were called to Lakeview Avenue in the city’s south end to investigate a suspicious vehicle driving around.
When police pulled the vehicle over they discovered a knife under one of the seats and baggies of crack-cocaine.
The two occupants, a 22-year-old man and woman were both taken into custody and are now jointly facing five charges, including carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a scheduled substance.
They were in court yesterday.
