The Vegas Golden Knights are not only busy trying to win the Stanley Cup this year, but they are busy working on their future as well.
On Friday, the team announced they have come to terms with Regina Pats forward Jake Leschyshyn on a three-year entry level contract.
Leschyshyn was selected by the Knights in the second round (62nd overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He appeared in 64 games with the Pats this season finishing with 40 points (18 G, 22 A). He also had five points (3 G, 2 A) in the playoffs and had one goal in the Memorial Cup.
His first point next season will be his 100th career WHL point.
