The skies opened up in southeast Saskatchewan on Thursday afternoon.
The Estevan area was pounded with rain and heavy hail as a storm system rolled through prompting tornado warnings.

There was also some concern of a fire at Saskpower’s Boundary Dam Station, but the company says what people were seeing was a lot of steam coming from the stacks due to flooding that has occurred.
It is not known at this time how much rain was received, and how much damage has been caused by flooding and hail.
