The Canadian Blood Services is urging all across the country to donate before Canada Day.
Especially those living in Regina.
According to spokesman for the organization in Saskatoon, Mike Fisher, there’s still a lot of donors needed in the Queen City.
“We’re looking to fill, in Regina alone, over 450 appointments in the next few weeks here before the long weekend,” he said. “We need all the help we can get.”
Fisher said typically, donation is not an issue for Saskatchewan residents.
If any one is interested in donating or learning about the donation process, Fisher said there’s many ways you can do that.
“The easiest thing to do is to go onto blood.ca,” he said. “We have everything you need to know, we have any mobile clinics that may come by in a smaller community, any questions that you might have should be able to be answered there.”
