I’m going to make this short and sweet.
A friend posted a video of someone, (their neighbour) helping themselves to rhubarb. My friend happened to be home. The person came right into their garden and cut back rhubarb stock and left! No pop in to ask if they could grab some, nor trade for the yummy crumble that would be made! Kind of a gutsy move, ya think?!
As a kid we would go into our own garden and snatch fresh peas, carrots or whatever was tasty. Maybe you would even snitch something from the cranky old gal down the street on the way to school. Teens have been known to do some sneaky little things. I don’t know now, if a kid can pull their head out of their social media world enough to think about raiding a garden.
So, our web poll wants to know, have you ever – as a kid, a teen or an adult raided a garden. But this time, think about the person going into someone else’s yard, in the light of day and cutting back their rhubarb. Without permission!
