Country Thunder may be rocking Craven this weekend, but organizers have people thinking about next year’s show a little early.
On Friday night, it was announced Chris Stapleton will be the headline act for the 2019 show.
Stapleton, who has quickly become one of country music’s biggest performers, has numerous Academy of Country Music Awards to his name including the 2018 Male Vocalist and Album of the Year. He was also named 2018’s Top Male Country Artist at the Billboard Music Awards.
Country Thunder Executive Producer Troy Volhoffer says Stapleton is the one act many Craven-goers have been wanting to see since he has never performed in Saskatchewan.
Organizers of the event say a limited number of early-bird tickets are on sale for the 2019 event. Sunday single-day tickets are $85 while a weekend pass is $150.
They are available by going to the Country Thunder website.
