An investigation is underway after a body was found on 4th avenue in Regina.

Police were called just after 3:30am Sunday morning to the 100-block of 4th, which is between MacDonald and MacKay.

On arrival, police say they located the body and confirmed the person was dead.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has been called in as well.

Police aren’t releasing any more details, including the name of the person.
