Appendicitis sidelines Pats head coach Dave Struch

John Paddock was back behind the bench of the Regina Pats this weekend for their two-game Alberta road swing that ended with a shootout victory in Red Deer Saturday night.

The team announced before their game against the Rebels that Dave Struch had been forced to miss the games after coming down with appendicitis resulting in Paddock and assistant coach Brad Herauf guiding the team.

It is not known when Struch will be back behind the bench.  The next game for the Pats is Sunday, October 27 when the Prairie Classic goes at Mosaic Stadium against the Calgary Hitmen.
