How many glasses of water have you had today???

I am not a big water drinker. Donnie on the other hand, has between 7 to 10 glasses a day. She has always told me that I don’t drink enough water. I Always knew to drink a lot of water, but didn’t know that the timing effected things. I know I have to drink lots of water before I donate blood to plump up my arteries, but I didn’t know any of these other water tips.

Drinking water at the correct time maximizes its effectiveness on the Human body:

2 glasses of water after waking up   helps activate internal organs

1 glass of water  30 minutes before a meal – helps digestion

1 glass of water before taking a bath – helps lower blood pressure

1 glass of water before going to bed – avoids stroke or heart attack

I do know that drinking lots of water will curb your appetite if your trying to diet!

There is no such thing as a free lunch, so everybody that is attending is asked to bring some local produce, your own plate and utensils, and an idea on how they can be greener at Government Services??

Any suggestions for them???

SGI Play It Safe Day was a huge success…….Speculation was that between 6 to  7 thousand fans showed up for free hotdogs and photo’s. It was a perfect day with a little breeze and no insects.

The coin is simple and classic….at one point they thought Gainer should be featured? 

3 million printed and according to the Royal Canadian Mint, they won’t be printing anymore!

Here’s what the commemorative coin looks like. You get the pop up stand and the coin is plated in 24kt gold. (only 15,00 printed)

How big of a collectible will this one become???? The Fantuz Flakes sold out immediately in Regina so this coin will be hot!!!  you can’t find a Montreal Canadians coin. (I think they all stayed in Quebec).. I will be on hand broadcasting this afternoon on this coin launch….I know the print run will be low (for a coin) and the circulation will start after the launch. You will be  allowed 5 coins at a time then you have to go to the back of the line if you want more. Join us at the Northgate mall…..it all starts at 4pm.

If your like most people you will buy house, car, and life insurance but would you buy divorce insurance? There is a new company called Wedlock that is selling divorce insurance and they are doing a brisk business.

Maybe you want to buy a policy for your sister because she has a deadbeat husband. (she wouldn’t know about it)

With half of all marriages failing this doesn’t sound crazy to me at all.

When a divorce is finalized your net worth is cut in half then you have to pay the legal fee’s. Why not protect yourself or your loved one. It can’t be any worse than asking  for a prenuptial.  

Divorce insurance isn’t a quick way to make a buck if that’s what your thinking. You can’t cash in your policy unless you’ve had it for at least 4 years. The lowest monthly fee is $16.

I would think…. that if your thinking of buying divorce insurance, it’s a sign that you shouldn’t be getting married!

-Today would have been a little better if the Riders would have won. The key word for the loss…….. is SHOCK! I can’t believe how poorly the Riders played (except Patrick)……there was no intensity! no urgency to that game. Join Rod Pederson on the Sports Cage this afternoon at 4:05PM. (should be some “Rider Rage”)

-Pretty sure I saw some snow on Sunday morning!

-This weather sure dampens the spirits!……….with harvest operations already 2 to 3 weeks behind schedule, it looks like it could be 4 weeks by the time the next crop report comes out.

- Did you know that most computer related eye problems are the result of blinking your eyes less often??

-Australian, Sebastian Terry helped to deliver a baby in Saskatchewan!! Another item off the bucket list. Would you invite a stranger to deliver your baby?

-The Bridge across Buffalo Pound Lake, North of Moose Jaw on highway 2, collapsed Saturday morning while a crane was working on the bridge. How many more bridges in the province need maintenance? By the way if your leaving Saskatoon, you can take 643 out of Craik down to 42 and that will connect back to highway 2 around Tuxford. Your car might get dusty (muddy) but it will get you there.

- Went to Superstore on Sunday……………bad idea……..back to school shopping underway!

- Jamie Lewis is back to work……….I haven’t punched him in 7 days and I’m going threw withdrawl….(guess it’s time)
