-Some big fund raiser’s for Haitian relief tonight starting at 6pm….. Canada for Haiti and then Hope for Haiti. Some big names contributing to this worthwhile cause. Both telethons on CTV and Much Music. Found some interesting facts on Canada’s contribution. Canada is the world’s most generous contributor of aid to Haiti on a per-ca pita basis and has a legitimate right to ask for a lead role in the country’s reconstruction. Canada leads the world if calculations are based on a per ca pita formula, with each Canadian effectively contributing more than $5 U.S. to Haiti, compared to less than $1 from each American. Only in Canada!

In his monologue last night, he apologized to the guests he had scheduled for next week, including President Barack Obama, the Queen of England and ‘our good friend, Elvis Presley. He confided that his separation from the network meant ‘NBC dropped off all my CDs and picked up its lava lamp. He shared some unusual terms of the agreement, including his returning ‘the Etch-A-Sketch my contract was written on, and that, ‘Effective today, NBC will stop paying for (announcer) Andy Richter’s medical marijuana.
And he gets 45 million for that kind of material?
