Wow! what happened to January??? It’s gone. Time Flies when your having fun and busy.
Congratulations are in order to the Central Butte Recreation Association on their lottery sellout, that I have been involved with the last couple of years. The bigger thanks goes to you if you bought a ticket. Many small communities rely on these lottery’s to sustain their community projects. It’s sad it’s come to this, but there is no other choice unless you let the town die and we all know, that nobody has bigger community spirit than Saskatchewanians.
The Alzheimer Society Forget -Me-Not-Walk was another success, held at the Fieldhouse, on Sunday. This was the second year I hosted it and it continues to grow. When the final tally is in, Joanne Michael is hoping for around $100,000. Over 165 people took part in the walk.
