The Big weekend starts tonight with myself MCing the Tommy Hunter Show at the Casino Regina Show Lounge. Show time is 8pm..grab a ticket by calling 565-3000 or 1-800-555-3189. Tommy was a mainstay in our household on Sunday nights right after Walt Disney along with The Irish Rover’s Show.
There’s a little game coming Sunday called Super Bowl.
Carrie Underwood will kick things off by singing the National Anthem.
Super Bowl Sunday will be the one and only time of the year where I’ll say “Shut Up, the commercials are on”.
Again my heart is with the Saints and my money is with the Colts…..I’m not sure where Donnie and I will watch it, but if your hosting a party, here are my useful tips…..
5…invite people who want the Colts to win so everyone’s happy after the opening kick-off
4…plan on having a snack tray set up near the line-up for the bathroom
3…even if the games a blow-out, don’t suggest switching the TV to Cougar Town on ABC
2…plan on serving the food when the game becomes really lopsided….so at the end of the first quarter should be about right
1…don’t let anyone who’s been drinking heavily have the volume control at half time
