Sask Trade and Export Partnership holds internet event

Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership is launching an innovative internet showcase for 250 exporters in this province.

The virtual event is like a trade show and is designed to draw international buyers year-round and during specific live events.

A live event will be featured January 25th to 28th to replace travel and gathering restrictions during the global pandemic.

The SaskTrade Showcase live event has over 650 domestic and international buyers from 77 countries registered to be connected with 250 provincial exporters.

The showcase is organized by key sectors focusing on food and agriculture, agricultural technology and equipment, energy and mining, Information technology, and manufacturing and professional services.

The showcase will also stream about 20 webinars to Saskatchewan products.

Following changes caused by the coronavirus, Saskatchewan exporters have been involved in 59 virtual trade missions, seven virtual trade shows, and four virtual trade conferences.

This month’s showcase is designed to help Saskatchewan companies achieve export success.
