Eastbound buses are detouring from 12th Avenue to Lorne Street to Saskatchewan Drive to Hamilton Street to 11th Avenue back on route.

The bus stops in front of the Cornwall Centre are temporarily closed and buses are waiting on 12th Avenue for the downtown timepoint. The city says the detour will be in until 11th Avenue is once again safe to use.

The blizzard also damaged the greenhouse at the Regina Floral Conservatory, which has since been repaired. The city has also received approximately 75 calls related to tree damage.

They say their main priority is to ensure that streets are clear and accessible and to respond to any fallen tree endangering the public, for example a tree fallen on a house or car.
