Regina Police say man who died in auto accident was homicide victim

What was initially thought to be a single vehicle accident, has turned into Regina’s fourth homicide of 2019.

On Tuesday evening officers were called to a single vehicle accident in the Eastview neighborhood.

Once there they found the body of 30-year-old Denny Troy Jimmy inside the vehicle.

Further investigations lead police to believe Jimmy’s death was a homicide.

No arrests have been made and police are asking anyone with more information to call them or Crime Stoppers.

The Regina Police Service major Crimes unit is leading the investigation along with various other units and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.

Police say Jimmy’s family has been notified of his death.
