RPS investigates after NW Regina home hit by a gunshot

Regina Police are looking for information on a firearm being discharged towards a house in the city’s northwest end.

Police say officers were called to the 5500 block of 2nd Avenue North at about 8:21 Thursday morning.

Reports say the residents noticed a pile of dust , which turned out to be drywall from an interior wall, a hole through the exterior wall and a broken TV screen.

RPS says neither resident remembers hearing anything that sounded like a shot overnight.

The investigation includes physical evidence, potential videos and witnesses.

No suspects have been identified at this time.
