Premier Brad Wall continues to show his support for TransCanada, as the Calgary-based company moves to sue the Obama administration.
Wall sent out a tweet Wednesday night, backing TransCanada as they look to seek 15-billion dollars U-S in costs and damages, after Obama rejected the proposed Keystone X-L pipeline two months ago.
Wall says the pipeline would be the safest method to move oil within the country.
“There’s lots of trains full of oil going across our province and across our country, and we know that’s one way to move oil, but it’s not the safest way.”
The Keystone X-L would have taken Canadian oil to refineries in Texas.
