A man from the Donavon District in central Saskatchewan is facing 29 criminal charges after he was found in possession of over 1.2 million dollars of stolen farm equipment.
38-year old Iain Stables was charged after a joint investigation by the RCMP and Saskatoon Police Service.
The investigation led law enforcement to a property in Montrose, where the goods were seized.
The equipment includes five tractors, two balers, two trucks, two gators, a cattle hauler, a car hauler, a haybuster, a mower and a tiller.
The machinery was stolen from people and dealerships in Saskatoon, Biggar, Outlook and Rosetown.
Stables will be in a Saskatoon court in April.
