Planned maintenance at the Pasqua Hospital this weekend to water lines means there will be water disruptions at the facility.
In a news release, the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region says a leak occurred on part of the booster pump system for the city water pressure and now that the needed parts have arrived, it is time to fix the problem.
Patients and staff at the Pasqua Hospital will experience water disruptions over the weekend while planned maintenance is undertaken to the building s water lines.
Work will start at 11 tonight meaning water will be shut off to the building while repairs are underway with those repairs expected to be completed by 6 AM tomorrow. When water service is restored, the system must be flushed and the water tested to ensure it is safe meaning the supply will likely not be confirmed as safe to drink until sometime Sunday afternoon.
The health region says Patients, staff and visitors will have a safe, plentiful supply of drinking water and access to washroom facilities.
