Chris Getzlaf could be trading in green and white for green and gold.
The Edmonton Sun is reporting the 33 year old Regina native, who has been bothered by injuries the last two years, is close to signing a deal with the Edmonton Eskimos.
The eight year veteran dressed in just 10 games last year recording 33 catches–four of them for touchdowns.
The report comes out at the same time as the Riders announce the signing of five players.
The five are international quarterback/receiver Armanti Edwards, international defensive back David Barks, international linebacker Samuel Eguavoen, and international linebacker D.J. Lynch, and international defensive lineman Hasan Hazime.
The team is also announcing fullback Matthew Rea has been released.
