Regina cab driver robbed

A Regina cab driver suffered minor injuries after being robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

Police say they received a call around 4:30 a.m. with the cab driver saying he had picked up a fare in the north end of the city.  Upon arriving at their destination in the south-central part of the city, the occupants demanded the driver’s belongings.

At this time, no one is in custody and an investigation continues.

The release from Regina Police does not state where the fare started and where the crime actually happened.
