Conservation assessment coming soon

Nature Conservancy Canada is putting the finishing touches on a report, due to be released at the end of this month, which is the first ever conservation assessment for Canada.

Andrew Holland with NCC says without getting into details of the report he does know their organization has identified nine eco-regions of Canada that require urgent conservation attention and another 15 which are high priority.

Once every four years the national organization overseeing Nature Conservancy Canada – meets. This year it is in Ottawa at the end of January.

The release of the report will coincide with that meeting in Ottawa.
