An Air Ambulance flight leaving Swift Current Tuesday night was apparently hit with a green laser while there was a patient onboard.
During the ascent, reports say the laser incident last nearly 20 seconds.
It happened west of Swift Current and north of the TransCanada Highway.
The crew notified Air Traffic Services who reported the incident to the RCMP.
Air Ambulance continues to raise awareness about the danger of pointing lasers at aircraft saying such acts are disorienting and blinding for pilots and quite dangerous.
Air Ambulance says many of the patients flying on board are in critical condition and Air Ambulance is transporting those patients to the medical attention they require.
The flight was not affected by this incident and was able to proceed as normal.
