All five Saskatchewan political parties were represented as the election season’s first debate was held in Regina.
Hosted by the Disability Income Support Coalition, or DISC, candidates discussed the Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability program.
Judy Hannah, with DISC, says the program allows people dealing with disabilities to live with a degree of dignity.
Over 17-thousand people are enrolled in the program in the province.
Hannah says the debate was promising and all five parties committed to growing the program further.
