You couldn’t get a parking spot anywhere near Regina’s Milky Way on Sunday.
The well-known ice-cream shoppe opened its door for its 60th year serving ice cream to Regina.
Crowds lined up on Victoria Avenue for the annual right-of-passage into spring.
Carol Bolde bought the store with her business partner Anne in 1981.
She says the shop has always been busy.
The Milky Way opened in 1956 and has had a steady line up of customers each summer since.
Bolde says people are drawn to its old-school feel.
