As I blogged about yesterday, I made my way south after work to get a new barbeque for the deck at the Lewis household. I was planning on hitting up a few stores looking for the right barbeque in the right price range. Fortunately I found one that fit that criterion at my very first stop!
If my wife had been along for this shopping experience, an experience is exactly what it would have turned out to be. She would have wanted to go to another 5 stores to see if we could have found a better barbeque at a better price. I would have had to say “slow down here tiger, who does all the barbequing in the family anyway?” I don’t go traipsing around with her from store to store when she goes shopping, so I’m glad she wasn’t with me. In and out. Just the way guys like it!
I lucked out. I found a barbeque I liked at a price I was comfortable paying. At the first store! Eureka! Why go any further? It doesn’t make any sense.
I paid for the barbeque, grabbed my vehicle, and had an employee help me load it in to the vehicle. It was simple.
The biggest pain in the a** was the traffic. It was only 11 o’clock in the morning and the traffic was nuts. Doesn’t anybody work in this city?
