Regina police are searching for the person who lost control of a car in the Warehouse District early Friday morning slamming it into a power pole.
Reports had indicated the driver had been taken to hospital with undetermined injuries, but a release from Regina police on the situation says the vehicle was unoccupied when they arrived.
Around 430, the car east on 8th crossed the road at Cornwall and slammed into a power pole shearing it off its base and leaving it hanging by the power lines.
The vehicle eventually collided with a building on Scarth Street.
The accident has also left the entire Warehouse District without power this morning as Saskpower crews attempt to fix the damage caused.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Regina police or Crimestoppers.
