So over the weekend a sad event happened at a zoo. A gorilla had to be killed after a 4 year old boy some how got into the enclosure. Zoo officials I imagine had to work out some way to get the kid out without hurting or setting off the gorilla, obviously they couldn’t come up with a way to safely do it any other way and ended up taking the like of the gorilla. Then of course comes all the experts on the Internet who claim they should’ve done this or that and blame the zoo or the parents. Look I remember being four years old and being the type to wonder off, I was so bad for this that I was one of those kids who got leashed, this kid who knows. It takes just that split second and they’re off and adventuring.
In the end of course the kid came out of it okay, most like a little mentally scared what with seeing a gorilla die and all but fine none the less. It’s sad that they had to also kill the gorilla since silverbacks are an endangered species. In the end the only person I feel really truly bad for is the guy who had to pull the trigger. He had to be the one to put the gorilla down and if he had missed and angered the gorilla that kid wasn’t getting out of there. So that’s the guy I feel bad for. Hopefully his name never comes out or people will want his head for absolutely no reason.
