Yesterday afternoon I was back on Highway #1 for another on-location broadcast. It was the 4th time in the last week I had made my way onto that highway for work. This time however, I didn’t make the cut down to Highway #2 and make my way to Assiniboia. My destination yesterday was the Temple Gardens Hotel and Spa in Moose Jaw.
I must admit, I was quite impressed. I had never been there before, but I will definitely be booking a room sometime during the summer. The facilities are fantastic. My broadcast equipment was set up on the 4th floor, which is where the pool is located, right beside the Morningside café, which serves up all kinds of great food. It was the last broadcast location for the legendary Peter Gzowski, hence the name.
I was amazed at the number of visitors from Alberta. They were there from Brooks, Medicine Hat, Calgary, and Red Deer. They either drive out themselves or hop aboard a tour bus bound for Moose Jaw.
The staff was great. Everyone had a smile and a personality to match. I’ve always been a sucker for a great personality.
If you haven’t been to Temple Gardens yet, try to pencil it in sometime in the near future.
You won’t be disappointed.
