The provincial NDP is in some hot water for releasing details of the provincial budget before Kevin Doherty stood up to deliver it Wednesday afternoon
The matter was brought up in the Legislature Thursday morning with the opposition once again apologizing for what happened, but speaker Corey Tochor says those apologies are not good enough in this instance.
The situation has been referred to an all-party committee to determine possible sanctions.
In the past, the opposition has been prevented from embargoed information for a period of time.
During question period, finance minister Kevin Doherty turned the tables on the opposition by saying interim leader Trent Wotherspoon should have already removed finance critic Cathy Sproule for breaking the embargo as that is what the NDP would do if Doherty or any cabinet minister were to do such a thing.
