Relations with First Nations people were discussed at the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday afternoon.
Guest speaker, FSIN Chief Bobby Cameron talked about the importance of education and housing for First Nations people.
Cameron says it’s networking events like these that produce changes.“It’s about communication, it’s about respect. And how we get to that point is having any organization partner together to enhance the quality of life for all of our people here in Saskatchewan.”
He says awareness for youth issues needs to continue to grow in Saskatchewan because of the alarming number of suicides on First Nations.
