Three days of checking out products that seem so large, you have to have a fat bank account to purchase.
Three days to ponder where your farm operation is going, find people of like mind or those that can offer you a new angle on a life-long career. A career that sees you dealing with mother nature on a daily basis, like she’s your CEO!
Three days to wander Evraz Place grounds with bags or pails filled with gadgets and hats, pens and notepads, shovels and stock-sticks, footballs and hockey pucks, t-shirts and printed material.
While the Farm Show is now just three days long, it appears that everyone is happy. Set a plan and get moving!
620 CKRM has been hunkered down with various exhibitors. Today, I will be outside enjoying the sights and sounds of Warner Industries – plus watching the trams run people around the grounds, the antique tractor parade and of course the people stopping to say “Hello”.
My last two days have been with SeedMaster. Their innovation and product demonstrations, as well as, the friendly staff are big reasons people flood to Exhibit Hall 1. So, Thank You SeedMaster – I had a great time!
I’m sure if you asked Colin and Jamie, they would echo how much fun it is to watch people as they trek through the exhibits and all around the grounds.
We have met so many of our listeners and people from all over the world. Some come by to meet you and others stop and ask a question you have no answer to!
I joked to the SeedMaster crew that I should come to their product briefing so I could be another sales rep on the exhibit floor. If you lean in and listen, its amazing what you learn about the additions to farming. The industry is mind-blowing. And it continues to evolve!
While my feet are sore from standing and walking, there’s one more day to enjoy the Farm Progress Show. Gates are open til 5pm tonight.
Thanks for stopping by and saying hello!
