Regina police are investigating after a 12 year old boy was shot in north Central early Thursday morning.
Police were called to the 12-hundred block of Garnet Street around 3:20 AM after getting reports of gunshots and yelling .
When officers arrived, they found the boy who was taken to hospital suffering from wounds that are not considered life-threatening.
Moments later, other units in the area received information saying three young men were seen fleeing the area on bicycle and foot.
A 14 year old was taken into custody with help of the canine team with a 12 year old also being arrested. The 14 year old had to be hospitalized for a dog bite.
A third possible suspect remains at large.
At this time, Regina police say they continue to investigate and are not clear what kind of charges may come out of the incident.
