RCMP are reporting 73 traffic tickets were given out on Thursday night at the Craven Country Jamboree.
There were 3 impaired drivers, 6 liquor act violations, four tickets for disturbing the peace and one charge issued for assault with a weapon.
RCMP remind those going to Craven there will be a strong presence both inside the festival site and outside as well.
They are telling people if their call is an emergency to call 9-1-1 and if it isn’t to call 310-RCMP.
Inspector Ted Monroe says the most important thing when placing a call is to give your actual location and not just say “in the campground”.
He adds contact information is also very important, and if police need to phone you back to not wander too far from where you placed the call as cell phone coverage is inconsistent.
