After being at Craven and enjoying the company of the Rich and Famous, wouldn’t it be great to have the cash to live a bit more luxurious!
It probably would be! But at times that too can get a bit much. Like who’s going to clean the bathroom, make the beds, clean the fridge?
Check out the Randy Bachman estate in Linden, Washington.
As you will note, across the border is Vancouver, where the real estate is OUT of CONTROL!
Now, at a time when the economy has been tanking, real estate might be soft and people are spending time a bit closer to home, this might be a little rich for your blood – unless you have fallen into a vat of money.
A constant life of being on the road, in recording studios, signing autographs and meeting people who are star struck or whatever – might not be for you. Having said that, your current position in life might afford you more than a star status musician has. Like being at home every night with your family!
We actually heard that Eric Church does fly home between shows instead of riding the bus to the next gig. You don’t want to miss your kids growing up, plus there’s always other work to be done. Now, I’m not sure if riding the garden tractor around the farm is one of them or its creating the next marketing opportunity, maybe writing new music – the mystery of a superstar.
In reality, life probably isn’t that much different from all of ours. . . except for the bank account.
