Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall will be in Whitehorse, Yukon for the Summer Meeting of Canada’s Premiers beginning Wednesday
While his main focus will be discussing the economy with his counterparts, Wall will be raising his concerns over the Alberta NDP’s plans to require all beer from outside their province to pay a maximum $1.25 per-litre mark-up.
Alberta premier Rachel Notley said the Saskatchewan Government was using ‘drive by politics’ with the issue and that Wall should have picked up the phone.
Wall says he did.
Wall says if a solution cannot be worked out on the beer mark-up, everything is on the table for potential retaliatory measures.
