It’s been another night of severe weather on the prairies, this time with southern Manitoba taking the brunt of the storm.
Tornado warnings were issued across the region, and reports are pouring in on social media of trees being downed and power being knocked out.
Many reported seeing the sky over Winnipeg turn green before the city was hit with high winds, heavy rain and intense lightening.
One person who lives southwest of Portage la Prairie posted pictures on Twitter of an empty lot where a vacant mobile home used to be.
Rachelle Bear also posted pictures of buildings that had been damaged at a feedlot.
The Weather Network posted a tweet reporting that winds at the Winnipeg airport had reached 98 kilometres an hour.
