The maiden voyage of the NewLeaf direct non-stop twice a week flight to and from Kelowna took place Thursday.
It is the first direct flight to the Okanagan Valley to come out of the Queen City.
Dick Graham, President and CEO of the Regina Airport Authority says this is big for the customers. “Serving southern Saskatchewan very nicely with some great timing on flights with a Thursday noon fly out and a Sunday evening return. We couldn’t be more excited.”
Kelowna was one of the top Canadian unserved destinations prior to NewLeaf.
