The final round of private liquor store applications in Saskatchewan has started.
The government is now accepting request for proposals for 20 communities.
There is one opportunity available in each of the communities.
Liquor Minister Don McMorris says successful proponents for the locations will have the option to operate an integrated or standalone operation.
In November 2015, the Saskatchewan government said it would sell off 40 government liquor stores for conversion to privately run stores.
Eleven new private liquor stores will also open in what the government believes are under-served communities.
