A report from the Canadian Institute for Health Information says Saskatchewan doctors enjoy the second-highest average clinical payment.
Walter Feeney is the program-lead with the physician information department.
He says the lowest payment in 2015 was $258-thousand in Nova Scotia.
The amount varies by physician specialty.
As of last year, Saskatchewan had more doctors than it has ever had before, but Saskatchewan still has fewer doctors per-capita than any other province, except P.E.I.
Feeney says Saskatchewan had 196 physicians per 100-thousand people, where Nova Scotia had the highest percentage at 261 doctors per 100-thousand.
