Three people have died and one has been seriously injured at work sites in Saskatchewan since July.
The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour says the provincial government is to blame for the increase in injuries.
Larry Hubich, president of the organization says the government has made cuts to Occupation Health and Safety inspections.
Hubich says the government continues to make cuts despite Saskatchewan’s growing population and its increase in workers.
He says these accidents keep happening because 78-percent of workplace inspections are no longer random.
