The last home game for the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Mosaic Stadium is inching closer and closer.
On Wednesday, the football team released some details of that final game on October 29 while saying 90 percent of tickets have already been sold.
The evening will include music, video, a light extravaganza and most importantly you, the fans becoming part of the show. Fans will be encouraged to come early and be prepared to extend the evening for the post-game celebration and formal goodbye that will allow Rider Nation to reflect on and celebrate their long standing home, one last time.
Three time CCMA female vocalist of the year Jess Moskaluke of Langenburg, along with Regina’s Jack Semple and Jason Plumb will be performing during the evening with other details as to what will be happening being released soon.
In 2017, the team will move to the new 278 million dollar Mosaic Stadium that hosted its first game last weekend when the University of Regina Rams beat the University of Saskatchewan Huskies 37-29.
