A 24-year-old man is in custody and facing a number of charges after stabbing a man, then breaking into a nearby Saskatoon home Friday night.
Around 7:53 p.m., police were called to a home in the 1800 block of 20th Street West.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed several times.
The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Approximately six minutes later, tended the 400 block of Avenue U South, where a man broke into a home and was threatening the occupants with a knife.
Officers arrested the suspect upon arrival.
Police have confirmed the same man was responsible for both incidents.
The suspect is facing charges of aggravated assault, break and enter, assault with a weapon and several counts of breaching a court order.
